Hello friends!
Just got home from Santander and Bilbao, Spain! This weekend was filled with the beach, modern art museums, and a ton of driving. I can not believe we only have a week left, this past month has flowwwnnn by!
The beach in Santander was absolutely breath taking. The water was so crystal clear, I just wanted to jump in and swim with my eyes open.
I mean come on, this is a dream

Okay, let's just get it out there...I do not like or understand modern art. I have a huge respect and appreciation for art but when it comes to something that I can do, I wonder why people pay so much money to see some of these ridiculous things. It may be just because I am a Nutrition Major, but I have taken a few art classes.
Like for example,
Feel free to explain to me how a table with a light shinning on it is art.
Mr. Potato head should just stick to Toy Story.
Maybe I am just not a modern art type of gal.
Two Thing That Spain Does Better:
1. Baby Strollers: after seeing this adorable piece, I just wanted to pop out a baby right then and there (Mom take note for "way in the future" baby gift)
2. Dogs ("Perros")
Need I say more?
Many things that America does/has better:
1. First and foremost: In n Out, I don't care what your tastebuds usually decide because on this one is it a guarantee "love it" food item...I have never craved it this much until this trip
2. Air conditioning: I contemplated this as being #1 but burger with animal style fries=win
3. People who speak English
4. Free bathrooms
5. My car, see ya never metro and buses
6. Identifiable meat
7. My bed and bathtub
9. No random people coming up to me trying to sell me things while I try to enjoy my food
10. No gypsies (yes, they are real)
11. I can cleaning my own clothes and choose where to hang or dry them (not having my underwear hung outside for the world to see, and my Senora's husband)
12. Free water (strange that Wine is cheaper than water in Spain)
